About me
Biography
Born 1975 in Zurich, I have lived in Vienna since 2004.
My professional path led me from textile design to film directing.
I have combined and expanded my two professions.
Today, I design cross-media corporate images.
Textile design
During my textile design studies at the Zurich University of Art and Design (now ZHdK), I began designing upholstery and decorative fabrics for the Viennese studio Affabre Design, which were sold worldwide.
Screenwriting and directing
After a few years of practice, I decided to turn my love of film into a second profession. I moved to Vienna to study directing with Michael Haneke and screenwriting and dramaturgy with Götz Spielmann at the Vienna Film Academy.
During my studies, I continued to work as a textile designer and in interior design.
Director for live streams
From 2013 to 2025, I regularly directed live broadcasts of operas, ballets, and concerts from the Vienna State Opera.
Media design
After intensive further training in the areas of media design, web development and programming, digital marketing, and search engine optimization, I have been the owner of a media design and film production company since 2022 (more information at eleta-mediendesign.at).
